Schedules

Azure Update Manager uses 'maintenance configuration schedules' to specify when updates will be applied. Using standardized roles, we provide a default set of schedules. Each schedule utilizes a dynamic scope that looks for a tag on the VM. Based on the tag, the VM is included in the schedule.

  • Reboot: No reboot
  • Update Types:

  • Schedule: Daily at 23:00
  • Duration: Up to 3 hours
  • Reboot: No reboot
  • Update Types:

• ALG-UPDATE-Weekly

  • Schedule: Weekly on Saturday at 23:00
  • Duration: Up to 3 hours
  • Reboot: Reboot if necessary
